Intimation regarding a cyber-incident affecting the online systems and platforms of ECU Worldwide, fully-owned global subsidiary of Allcargo Logistics Limited

1. We wish to hereby inform you that certain online platforms on the ECU Worldwide network have been temporarily unavailable due to a cyber-incident on 07 February 2021 (the “Incident”).
 
2. Following the Incident, as a precautionary measure, certain online platforms and our email system had to be taken offline. Our email system and website remains unavailable.
 
3. In view of maintaining business continuity, services on the ECU360 portal have now resumed for customers to book global cargo movements. While going live with ECU360, performance upgrades have been added to enhance stability, speed and security.
 
4. We acted swiftly in relation to the Incident and took all the relevant and necessary actions possible, in order to minimise the impact of the Incident. Immediately following the Incident, a leading international firm of IT consultants was engaged to work with our IT team to bring our systems and on-line portals back online in a timely and secure manner. The IT consultants are also investigating the scope and cause of the Incident.
 
5. Our own IT team has been strengthened further with the recruitment of a senior Cyber security expert.
 
6. The company’s other businesses in India including CFS, Projects and Engineering, Warehouses, and others are fully functional and continue to operate as usual.
 
7. Constant efforts are being taken to minimise any impact to our business and services to our customers. All our local offices and branches are working round the clock to manage operational and documentation requirements and cargo handling.
